Happy and Healthy Holidays, from your Festival Family

We know the holidays are traditionally a time spent with family and loved ones, and we appreciate that this year may not look quite like years past.  However, we want you to know that while you think about spending time with those you love, we are thinking of spending time with all of you! We are working diligently to make 2021 a year worth looking forward to.

In years past, we have been delighted to open ticket sales earlier and earlier for the next year’s festival. However this year we have decided to take a little more time in preparation, but make no mistake, we are striding forward.  After postponing the 2020 Thomas Point Beach Bluegrass Festival, we began working with agents and artists in preparation for the 2021 festival, a mulligan by the Mulligans, if you will.

We are excited to announce that we will be opening ticket sales for the 2021 Bluegrass Festival in January, and would be delighted to see you, happy and healthy, in 9 short months. If you, or anyone you know, would like to be the first to hear about ticket sales opening up, be sure to follow us on Facebook.  We will be announcing sales there, as well as on our website, and email newsletter.

This year has had it’s ups and downs, but good times are coming, and this Holiday Season, we wish you all good health, love, and to find happiness in hope for a brighter 2020.

Dedicate a Picnic Table.

Our goal this year was to have some shiny new picnic tables in place for you all, but with no show and a challenging 2020 season at the Campground due to the Covid-19 crisis, realistically this is not going to happen.  However, for each donation to the festival, you will be able to sponsor a shiny new table with your on an custom plate embedded in the table for 2021 and beyond.

Close your eyes, listen to the skies
All is calm, all is well
Soon you’ll hear Kris Kringle and the jingle bells

Congratulations, Rhonda!

We couldn’t be prouder of our dear friend Rhonda Vincent on her upcoming induction into the Grand Ole Opry!

Rhonda Vincent was invited to be the newest member of the Grand Ole Opry on Feb. 28, 2020. Opry member Jeannie Seely surprised Vincent with the invitation following Vincent’s performance there that night.

Vincent’s induction ceremony, originally slated for March 24, 2020, was postponed after COVID-19 halted music performed for full-capacity audiences. Over eight months after Vincent’s originally-scheduled big night had come and gone, the Opry has announced Feb. 6, 2021 as the make-up date.

Rhonda has played the TPB Festival 9 times with her own band The Rage (99, 01, 06, 07, 08, 11, 12, 14, 19) and 4 times as part of her family’s band The Sally Mountain show. (87, 88, 91, 92)

TPB Counts Down to Summer!

As we pass the winter solstice on Monday, December 21st, every day brings us more sun, and one step closer to Summer, and we can not WAIT to see all of you again. As we come in to the new year looking forward to happier and healthier days, we are preparing to open Camping Reservations for 2021.  As part of that, we are preparing to finalize outings and events at the park this summer.

Know anyone looking for a gem of a place to host an eventoutingparty, or wedding in 2021?  Be sure to send them our way to book soon!  You can use our On-Line Form to submit an outing or event request, and we will get you set up in no time!

Be sure to Follow Thomas Point on Facebook for announcements about 2021 events, Camping Deals, and all sorts of other great stuff!

It has been a long year, and as we look forward to brighter days ahead, we are excited to spend them with you.
