We want to thank each and every one of you who were able to join us this year for our 2024 Thomas Point Beach Bluegrass Festival! It was a very special weekend, made all the more special by the family and friends that joined us, and made it all possible.
As you are all likely aware by now, Thomas Point Beach and Campground sold to new owners in the fall of 2024, and it is after very careful consideration that we have decided to retire our beloved Thomas Point Beach Bluegrass Festival.
You are important to all of us, and we will be forever grateful for the love and trust you have all shown us over the years.
Looking for something new on Labor Day Weekend? Visit The Crooked River Gathering!
We happy to share that many loyal Thomas Point Beach Festival folks will be gathering again in fellowship and community at The Crooked River Gathering in Hiram, Maine on August 28-31. Camping opens on Sunday, August 24 for those who like to make a week of it! The Crooked River Gathering is a bluegrass festival in Maine featuring camping, music, and homesteading/DIY skillshares and demonstrations. More than a festival, it is a celebration of the community built around bluegrass and old time music, farming, homesteading, and artisan creativity. You are ‘part of the show’. The event takes place over four days, and features live music, vendors, food trucks and craft beer, and educational workshops, community meetups, and skillshares.
The event is hosted by The North Atlantic Arts Alliance, a 501c3 charity organization whose mission is to enrich our rural Maine communities through arts performance, education, and the support of local agriculture, business and sustainable practices. The same folks that put on the Ossipee Valley Music Festival!

What about Camping at TPB ?
We appreciate that many of our devoted fans have been able to come to the park on Labor Day Weekend to camp “Festival Family” style in the past, when the Festival has taken a break of a year or more. Unfortunately, at this time, the new owners have given us no information about if or when camping for the season will open, or what their plans are for camping on Labor Day weekend. The park is still closed and under construction. We will be sure to let you know, when we have more information.
